Åslia is the slalom slope of Åsele and offers adventures all year round. Apart from slopes for downhill skiing and a track for cross-country skiing, the magical forest path Åslia is located here. The forest path offers hiking for the unexperienced as well as the experienced hiker.
The hiking path starts at the parking lot in front of the top cabin. The path runs through a pine forest and includes some steeper parts. Along the hiking path there ae several wind sheds with fireplaces. Firewood is provided at the fireplaces. The firewood however, is not placed in wood sheds. Therefore we recommend visitors to bring dry firewood during the spring- and autumn seasons

A cold water source is located next to the second wind shed, where one can enjoy the refreshing water before continuing the hike towards the vantage point of the hiking path. From the vantage point the visitor has a stunningly beautiful view of the mountains and forests that surrounds Åsele village. The beautiful view over Ångermanälven and its suttounding nature, can also be seen from the top cabin.
We recommend the use of waterproofed hiking boots since the hiking path at Åslia can be very wet. especially during spring and autumn.
