The mountain Vispsjöberget offers a hiking path of 3 kilometer that reaches the top of the mountain. There a fireplace, a wind shelter and a small cabin for grilling are located, where visitors can stop for a break in the beautiful landscape. The mountaintop of Vispsjöberget also offers a wonderful view of the river Ångermanälven. This view of Ångermanälven and its stunning surroundings is even better from the top of the vantage tower that is located at the mountaintop as well.

The mountain Vispsjöberget has a height of 465 meters, whereby the hike to its top includes an elevation. For a more comfortable hiking experience, we recommend the use of proper hiking boots. We also recommend visitors to bring their own firewood if they wish to light a fire at the mountaintop. We do also want to note that adders may accrue in the area.
How to get here:
- From Åsele, drive 16 kilometers on road 90 towards Junsele.
- After 16 kilometers, make a left turn on to a side-way.
- Keep driving for 2,1 kilometers.
- After 2,1 kilometers, park the at the end of the road and continue by foot along the hiking path towards the mountaintop of Vispsjöberget.
